IT’S THE END OF THE YEAR!!
Yep. 2014 is almost over and 2015 is around the corner. This week I climbed Mt. Yonah near Cleveland, GA with The Fellows, and I had the chance to reflect over this past year. It’s been full of ups and downs, transitions and changes, life and death.
New Job. New Home. New Relationship. New Revelations.
As I take a stroll through my memory bank, I can see the purpose in the adventure. There were times when I wanted to quit and times when I thought the climb was over; but standing at the top of the mountain that is 2014, I can better appreciate the journey that got me here. There are a few things that I still don’t understand and other things that I wish didn’t happen, but there is one thing I can say for sure.
I have no regrets.
I don’t regret telling God yes, over and over again, even when I wasn’t 100% sure what I was saying yes to.
I don’t regret giving everything I had and loving until I was empty.
I don’t regret “finishing weak” and digging deeper in times of drought; it means that I pushed myself, I stretched myself, and I’m stronger because of it.
I don’t regret asking for you to believe in me and support someone who desires nothing less than to follow Christ and change lives in the process.
IT’S THE END OF THE YEAR!
But the year isn’t over yet. There is still time to do more and to give more. I recognize that I still have more to give, and I hope that you do too. If you’re looking for a way to bless someone and give towards something that will have an eternal impact, I ask that you consider supporting me.
I am still $1700 short of being fully funded for The Fellowship.
Not only that, but I have agreed to join Adventures In Missions as a full time staff member. I will be the Director of The Fellowship program helping to empower and equip other young adults who desire to dedicate themselves and their talents towards growing God’s Kingdom, and I am looking for monthly partners.
By taking this new position, I realize that the Lord is increasing my impact and influence. By setting others up to be successful, I am indirectly touching the lives of everyone that they will impact. By partnering with me in this, you are planting seeds in the lives of everyone that I directly impact as well.
I don’t know what 2015 has in store for me, but I am committed to begin it knowing that I finished 2014 with no regrets. Will you commit to the same?
