SO HERE'S HOW IT HAPPENED …

I began stalking steepandcheap.com about a month after I got accepted for the World Race.  It's a really great website that features one item for sale every 20 minutes or so.  Only one item is sold at a time and there is a limited quantity of that item available, but the great thing is that the items are for sale 40%-70% off!  I visit the website daily whenever I get a chance to see if I can catch anything good. A couple days ago, I caught something good … great!

Because I set up an account with them, Steep and Cheap sent me an email letting me know that the next day is Women's Wednesday and between the hours of 10-12 MT they would be featuring 5 different items specifically for women.  The Gregory Deva 60 was one of those items!! But it didn't say what time that particular item would be available … what a tease!! I got soooo excited when I saw it because that specific backpack was one that I'd been eyeing at REI, Backcountry.com, and Amazon because of it's stellar reviews.  It was, however, too expensive for my budget so I figured I'd have to settle for something used or less expensive.  Needless to say, I prepared to stalk steepandcheap.com during the Women's Wednesday hours until the backpack came up. 

Now the email said that this promotion was going to happen from 10-12 MT, but I live in Atlanta (EST).  For some reason, I thought that Mountain Standard Time was 3 hours behind me in Eastern Standard Timezone … I was wrong, dead wrong!

So here I am telling myself that I need to be on the website from 1 – 3 EST and I was prepared to do just that.  I spent my morning like I usual – Praise & Worship. Feed and walk the dogs. Eat breakfast. Bible study. Catch up on emails, facebook, and other social media – Before I knew it, it was 2:00 … OH NO, I'M LATE FOR THE SALE!
I logged on at exactly 2:06 pm.  Thankfully, I still had "another hour" and hopefully I didn't miss the backpack. 

When I got to the website, it was featuring some fancy knife-tool-thingy.  Deeeeeeeefintely wasn't one of the Women's Wednesday items. I was -very- confused. I went back to my email and double checked the items that were being featured and the time. Everything that I'd originally read was correct. Still confused, I began wondering what happened. Then, the light bulb went off *ding* 'Kristina, you are a pure genius! Of course they are no longer featuring the Women Wednesday items. Of course you missed the sale. Of course, it's now 2:10 EST which is 12:10 MST and the sale ended at 12'  UGHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!
 

There was only one explanation for this, just like He did for Joshua, God blessed me with time.  He extended the sale for an hour just for me, because I'm his beloved!
