Thanks for visiting my blog! On this site, you’ll be able to find all of my blogs, send me messages to contact me, and support me as a missionary.

My long term missionary aspirations and this blog began with The World Race, an 11 month mission trip for young adults who are ready to trade in their traditional lifestyle for a radical opportunity to spread the message of Jesus Christ across 11 different countries!  I personally came to a place in my life where I was no longer satisfied with chasing the “American Dream” and I was yearning for something more.  Upon my first visit to the World Race’s website I saw the following statement …

“There is more to life than empty traditions, routines, and working 9-5 … “

As I continued to read through, I realized that I was not alone in my mission to find something “more” or to be a part of something bigger than me. That in fact, there is a generation of radicals whose heartbeat is to see a changed world. It’s a generation that’s dissatisfied with the status quo and is actively rising to the challenge of seeing the world transformed through tangible expressions of God’s love. World Racers are seeing lives changed in nations all over the world, and now I am one of them!

As of August 2014, I am home from my World Race and definitely a changed woman. I have decided to not go back to my job and forego my pursuit of The American Dream. Beginning in September 2014, I will be joining Adventures In Missions’ Fellowship Program in Gainesville, GA. The Fellowship is a 6 month program designed to grow participants in professional development while giving them the necessary skills, training, and resources to successfully pursue the plethora of available opportunities to make a difference in the Kingdom. I’m personally excited to navigate the world of missions ministry while receiving deep, purposeful discipleship and living in intentional community!

I invite you to read through my blogs, become a subscriber, share my story, leave comments, or do whatever you feel led to do. My hope is that your world is rocked and that you get a glimpse of God’s love in action!
