Something I have believed for a very long time is that there is significance in a name. Look at the examples in the Bible.
Isaac = Laughter; because Sarah and Abraham were so old when they gave birth to this promised son
David = Beloved; The Lord had set him apart from a young age to succeed the throne and is called a mans after God’s heart
Esther = Star; Without Esther going before the King unsummoned the fate of all of Israel could have changed
We have the opportunity to introduce ourselves ALL THE TIME on the World Race. Everywhere we go we start a new story with new people we encounter.
The other day after I introduced myself at a youth camp we went to in Thailand, the Lord gave me some revelation about my name.
KRISTIN = Christ lives In
Try pronouncing my name as a foreigner would.
It sounds like CHRISTIAN. (Ca-ris-tee-an)
How awesome that every time I introduce myself I get to be identified with Christ.

I am Loved.
I am Valued.
I am Free.
I am KRISTIN!
