I’m in the
LAND DOWN UNDER!!! I have been waiting years for this day, and it has finally
arrived.
As I write
this blog, I’m sitting on my comfy bed
in my air conditioned room waiting for a delicious meal. Earlier this afternoon, I washed my clothes in a
WASHING MACHINE. Oh how I love being back in the Western World for a few
weeks!!
We arrived
safely in Australia about a week ago. It only took leaving the hotel at 6:30am,
bus departing at 8:00am, 8 hour bus ride to Vietnam, 8 hour layover in the
airport, 5 hour overnight flight to Darwin, landing at 6:00am!! Needless to
say, the first day in Australia we slept the day away.
This month
the boys are having MANistry month so the girls of Team Fuego and the girls of Team Transformers unite to conquer ministry at YWAM Darwin while all the boys form a team and
work with the aboriginals. We will be partnering with YWAM and serving alongside
them in many different ways: giving out bread to the homeless, cooking and
cleaning on base, intercession, prayer walks for sex traffic, volunteering at a
homeless shelter, and just loving on the DTS students and staff! Who knows what
else the Lord has up his sleeve for us this month.
