Mr. and Mrs. Jones
This past month one of my best friends got married. Since I
couldn’t be part of the wedding, I decided to wrote a special blog for her and
her husband!
Jill and I have been friends since the end of 8th
grade. We cheered together in high school, had many classes with one another,
started the “breakfast club”, toured colleges together, had many sleep overs, did family vacations together, girls nights, went on a few double dates, and so much more!! Even when we
decided to part ways for college, we would visit each other throughout the
semester. This girl has been by my side for almost a decade now. She has a
growing heart for the Lord, and desires to disciple others. She is one of a kind!!
I was lucky enough to be a part of her whole relationship
with Ricky. Ricky and I started out as work out buddies. We would both go to
the gym before school. I would work out and he would sleep on the ab machine
Ricky and Jill started dating the end of our senior year.
Ricky quickly joined our group of friends and the memories have not end since
that day. We have had dance parties, bon fires, camping trips (in ginas back
yard), road trips to a variety of places, ski trips, lake days, game nights,
and so much more. Jill and Ricky dated throughout college and got engaged last
August.
I want to wish Ricky and Jill Jones the best of
luck! God has great plans for your life together! I’m so sad that I couldn’t be
there to share your special day, but you are in my thoughts and prayers!
