Welcome back to the Western World
Top ten things we take for granted in America:
1. Western
toilets and flushing the toilet paper
down the toilet
2. Hot
water
3. Electricity
(24/7)
4. Internet
that goes faster than dail-up
5. Washers
and dryers (well we still don’t have a dryer but I love not having to wash my
clothes by hand)
6. Options
for food other than rice
7. Walking
down the street and people not staring at you beside you look different
8. Driving
on the right side of the road without people honking their honks every 2 second
9. Having
a stove and an oven in the kitchen (actually just having a kitchen is nice)
10. Sleeping
in a bed that’s not as hard as the concrete floor
You don’t realize how much you have until it’s taken away.
It was great to see what it was like to live without, but I’m so thankful to be
back in the western world.
Ministry Update: This month we are teamed with “Considered
Lost” (Kacie, Natalie, Faith, Katherine, David, and Vinny). We are working in
an orphanage in Oradea, Romania. In the mornings we will be doing construction
around the village and at night we will be going to different homes to hang out
with the kids.
