Lately my faith has been leading me to do a lot of things that I don’t want to do. Things that are hard, things that are radical and things that ask more of me then I think I can handle. But that’s the really awesome thing about following God’s will, because you always can do more with Him. So here I am still raising support for my mission, but feeling called to do more.
I really hate fundraising. Anyone who knows me is fully aware that I am too independent for my own good and like to pick up the tab for myself and everyone else. Sure I understand the concept and blessing of receiving, and I have been doing quite a lot of it for the past year and a half. The beauty behind it is that every time I have my doubts about the world… the world turns right around and proves me wrong by giving more then I thought possible. That is the whole point after all, opening doors for people to join in and be a part of amazing things!
So now you have my honest thoughts about it. Here is your chance to prove me wrong again, and more importantly to give back and pay it forward where it counts.
