Today was Valentines Day. So I woke up to hear the men
making us breakfast (our first World Race pancakes). They were amazing.

Our next stop was to church, the church was very welcoming
even if it was really small. The next stop was to HopeVale, our most important
stop of the day. HopeVale is an
aboriginal community that is very much like Wujal Wujal; it was also started by
Lutherns and has very strict rules about only Lutherns being Christians. The
family we visited does not support the church, but still longs for Christian
fellowship. That is what we were there for. Frieda told us her story of healing
people, and being an outcast in the community (she still did not care what the
other people thought about her though).

It was so powerful to hear her story of sharing Christ with
everyone she meets. This woman comes from a community where if you don’t follow
the rules your ability to leave your house or your food supply gets taken away
and she still chooses to share an unpopular part of the Gospel (it is all about
faith not faith and works). Are you willing to share with that intensity?
