I realized after posting my first blog that I didn't even explain what exactly the world race is… only that I wanted to do it. So here goes….
THE WORLD RACE is a stretching journey into 11 countries in 11 months to serve "the least of these" while amongst real and raw community. This unique mission trip is a challenging adventure for young adults to abandon worldly possessions and a traditional lifestyle in exchange for an understanding that it's not about you; it's about the Kingdom. (literal definition from the website)
The 11 countries I will be visiting are:
Ireland Romania Ukraine India Nepal Mozambique Swaziland South Africa Thailand Cambodia Taiwan
Jesus says,"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit." Matthew 28:19
