Training camp. What a week.

It was intense. It was raw. It was community.

This is NSquad, my family! I love each and every one of them and can’t wait to see them again in January!

As I pulled up onto Adventures’ property and saw leaders and mentors greeting us with excitement, I once again let go of any expectation that I had of what this week would hold. I embraced my squad mates with hugs as the thought of “this is actually real” was running through my mind. NSquad is where it’s at! There is something special about this group. Throughout the first night we bonded in an incredible way. We became vulnerable, heard testimonies, and were constantly encouraging one another throughout the week.

This week was not only challenging physically, but also emotionally and spiritually. I am not the same person coming home as I was going to camp. We had countless times to process what God was doing in our lives and I am still processing right now. Chains were broken. Burdens were lifted. God filled empty spaces.

As you can probably guess, I lived in a tent the majority of the week. I embraced nature to the fullest! I ate interesting food and only took one bucket shower the whole week. I wore the same pants and shirt for three days. Porta potties and dance parties are a thing at camp. Every scenario that we faced was to prepare us for what we might encounter while on the race. All I can say now is take me back to camp!

We found out our launch date! I have to be in Atlanta on January 7th! That will begin the launch process leading up to when we leave the country to start our journey! Next blog I will introduce my incredible team! Thank you all so much for the prayers and support! You can continue to give and support me by pressing the support me button!
