This month my team and I are Phnom Penh, Cambodia working with an organization called University of the Nations. U of N partners with a YWAM couple who has a ministry called Beautiful Feet. Beautiful feet houses the poorest of the poorest university students. Their vision for the future is church planting but right now they are housing students which opens a door to tell them about Jesus. If Beautiful Feet does not have a team, the English class will have to shut down so I am excited to be here and to help them.
This month we are living with the girls in their dorm. There are 8 girls and 9 guys. We will be hosting Bible study’s on Tuesday and Thursday evenings and teaching English Monday thru Friday in the morning and evenings. We will also be doing what’s called One loaf project- everyone buys a load of bread and makes sandwiches and we will hand them out to people on the streets and on Sundays we will share testimonies or a message to the students and to the church.
This month will be about building relationships with these students and helping them with their walk with Christ. We were told that during bible studies they ask a lot of questions which is good so please keep us in your prayers that we can answer these questions and help them understand more about the Lord. I am very excited for this month because it reminds me of my mission trips to Guatemala and how I became very close to the college girls there. Thank you for keeping me in your prayers! I hope you all had a wonderful new year!
