I Wrote this blog a few days ago but I have not had wifi to post it. Since then we have been really busy (a good busy) so blog coming soon on just these few days 🙂 Nepal is incredible!
Today was our first day of ministry here in Nepal and while we were walking down the street we met a older woman named Bipala. As she was leaving the temple she came up to us and we started asking her questions about the religions in Nepal and what she believes in. Long story short she has never heard of Jesus before until today. We bought her some tea and talked some more about her god and we told her about Jesus and she let us pray for her. We found out she has no parents, husband, siblings or children and she has no where to live. Today was very eye opening for me and made me realize that everywhere I go I want to love on as many people as I can and just spend time talking to them and showing them they are important.
Also, today a little girl probably 5yrs old came up to us trying to tell us she was hungry. We bought her some food and tried the best we could to communicate with her. Just doing the simplest things today around the town has taught me so much. Today, I decided that I will keep food in my backpack for kids who come up to me hungry.
Even though we have set schedules with the ministries we partner with and do ministry with them, Today really taught me it is the little things we do day to day with the community around us that makes the biggest difference. Sitting with the homeless talking to them & showing them they matter and they’re loved makes the biggest difference. Or giving some food to people who are hungry shows them that they are loved and noticed. This month and for the rest of my life I have decided to really pay attention to people around me instead of walking right past them. To stop being so busy and live in the moment. Show people they are loved and important.
