As I lye here in bed I catch myself wondering why I can’t just cuddle up next to God.  Next to Jesus.  Like a child nestling up to her Father in safety and trust.  And Him sitting there reading a really long book because He is going to be there for awhile (all night).  She goes to sleep in peace knowing her Father is looking out for her.  She feels His warmth on the front of her shins as she curls up in a ball and pulls her arms in close.  He places His hand on her shoulder and there it rests as she drops her eyelids and says, “I love you Daddy.”  He responds, “I love you too (kissing her on the forehead).  More than you will ever know.”

Ephesians 3:17-19
“I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the saints, TO GRASP HOW WIDE AND LONG AND HIGH AND DEEP IS THE LOVE OF CHRIST, and TO KNOW THIS LOVE that surpasses knowledge- that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.”

Romans 8:15-16
“For you did not receive a spirit that makes you a slave again to fear, but you received the Spirit of sonship.  And by him we cry, “Abba, Father.”  The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that WE ARE GOD’S CHILDREN.”

I LOVE YOU DADDY.
