My best friend Keturah from the WORLD RACE has this amazing little blog called Peace, Love and Critical Thinking. She is raw, honest and a heck-of-a-writer. I love her to pieces. She just posted this great little blurp about what it takes to pursue a girl. 3 simple, but not so easy steps, that I think are essential for ALL men, but especially Christian men to read. I enjoyed reading it, I think you will too.

Here is a little preview:

1. don’t make her the star of your show.
what? girls don’t want to be the center of your universe? NO. have your own life. have goals and hobbies and friends and skills. have an interesting existence that someone might want to be a part of. she doesn’t want to be your adventure, she wants to be taken on your adventure.
2. be honest. . . .
3. don’t whine. . . .
Check out the rest of her blog here: Keet’s Blog for Men.
I would also add for my Christian brothers, that before you even start on this journey, spend a SIGNIFICANT amount of time (I can’t stress this enough) asking the Holy Spirit what he thinks about this special lady because NEWS FLASH: He WILL have an opinion. This is will keep you from later, down the road having to pull out your “God card” and telling her that you really don’t think it’s the “Lord’s will” for you to be together anymore. . . . Girls, same goes for you, a date or two to get to know him, okay, but before you commit to being his girlfriend, spend a SIGNIFICANT amount of time praying over him. That way you won’t have to use that same excuse either, you both will already be on top of what God desires for both of you!!

Remember God is capable of doing more than you can ask or imagine and he really does have your best interests at heart, this includes a mate.
