Double Digits
We are down to double digits when it comes to days until I leave for the World Race. As I type that out, I feel like someone needs to pinch me; am I actually doing the World Race? I am still in shock, that God chose me. I have 14 days left to squeeze in so much.
With that said, I come to you with updates!!
Update #1 I have reached a surpassed my second deadline and will be launching with my team! HORRAY!
Update #2 I am exactly $5,000 away from being fully funded! CRAZY!! Money was the reason that stopped me from applying a long time ago, I was clueless as to how I would raise the first dollar and here we are 2/3 of the way there! I honestly have you to thank for that!! I am extremely humbled by the love and support I have received; it has truly been a blessing.
Update #3 If you would like to donate you can do in multiple ways!!
– Adopt-A-Box is still a happenin thing! Just pick a box numbered 1-100 and donate that amount!
– You can also purchase a candle, from my Yankee Candle until January 16th! Just visit yankeecandlefundrasing.com, enter the Group #990107337, and Seller ID Kristen1 at the checkout! 40% of the profit goes directly to my race funds!
– Donate directly to my account on my blog at kristenmclaughlin.theworldrace.org! All donations are tax deductible! While you’re there, subscribe for future updates and keep up with all God is doing this next year in my life!
Update #4
Our first city and ministry was just released which is super exciting! My team and I will be in Cali, Columbia for the first month of my race!
Lastly, as I begin to start packing up, The goodbyes are getting harder and I can’t help but to think about all of the change, that will not only happen back home but in me also. .
If you have time, please take a minute to write a note or a letter. It doesn’t have to be long, just something I can open next year that will remind me of family, friends and home.
You all are such a blessing in my life, and I am really and truly thankful for each one of you. If there is anything I can pray for, or questions I can answer, please don’t hesitate to call or text, I would be happy to talk!
With much gratitude and a full heart.
