On Saturday we wrapped up our ministry in Romania and headed off for Moldova.  I’m sure most of you have no idea where Moldova is considering you probably didn’t know it existed.  Thats okay– apparently most people don’t, including the majority of our squad! 🙂 Moldova is just northeast of Romania.  As I mentioned in my last post, our team spent the past month painting murals on the walls of a school that Living Hope (the church we were working with all month) has rented out in a local neighborhood in Pitesti.  We did it!  By the grace of God, we finished those murals just three hours before we had to catch a train to Moldova.  If it wasn’t for his power and strength, we never would have made it.  Not only did we finish, but we finished strong.  The murals turned out beautifully.  I am so proud of our team and all of the hard work that went into this month.  We painted for approximately 150 hours in two and a half weeks!  The first week my team painted for 8 hours a day getting the primer and first coats of paint on the walls while I designed the two rooms with the murals.  In both the second and third week we had to step up our game and work 12 hour days in order to finish painting all four rooms (two with murals, two without) in time.  Below are the before and after pictures of the rooms and a short video of the Noah’s Ark progression and a tour of all four of the rooms we painted this month! (Thanks to Erin who took a lot of pictures while working) 🙂
