“We have the
privilege of representing Heaven in this world, so that we may

Be a manifestation of
Heaven to this world.”

            We went
onto the streets of Santa Cruz with YWAM.
There live under a bridge, with sewage, trash, and bugs.  They were high on drugs, some having
withdrawals because they don’t have the money to buy more.  A cardboard box is there warmth for the cold
nights.  The aroma that fills their
“home” is horrendous.  They are
parentless, most have been their whole lives, left to fend for themselves on
the streets in anyway that they can.

            Walking in
and around this place breaks my heart.  I
so badly want to scoop them up and just make them understand God has so much
more for you! There is so much more for you to experience and enjoy, a better
way to live if you can only let go of the things you are holding onto so
tightly.  Run, sprint, flee from those
things and run to Jesus, he is there waiting with open arms, waiting to scoop
you up and hold you so tightly and fill you with an everlasting Love.  He will give you a high that is never ending
and doesn’t cost you anything.  Though
there is sorrow in the streets there is Joy because God is there and He has
Victory over their life, he has victory over their situation and He is moving
and working.  Heaven is coming down in
that place; the spirit is there and moving.
His timing is Perfect.  The light
is coming, and where there is light there is no room for darkness.  Fixing our eyes on Jesus nothing can touch us.  When He is all that we can see, the world
around us may be hectic, blurry, moving around us like a hurricane but we are
walking with a bubble around us, eyes focused on our father, nothing even being
able to come close to touching us.

Hebrews 12:1-2 ” …and let us run with perseverance the race
marked out for us.  Fixing our eyes on
Jesus , the pioneer and perfecter of faith, for the Joy set before him he
endured the cross, scorning its shame and sat down at the right hand of the throne
of God.”

            I will
continue to fight for them, I will continue to pray for I know the work we are
doing there is winning an eternal battle, an eternal victory that far out
weighs anything we can see or comprehend on this earth.

2 Corinthians 4:6 “Let light SHINE out of darkness, made His
light shine in our hearts to give us the light of knowledge of Gods glory
displayed in the face of Christ”

            Last night
I had a vision when we were all praying over each other.  If you have seen the movie Stardust you will
know what I’m talking about, if not then you should see it J In the movie the man
woman character is a star that fell to earth, and what do stars do best? They
shine.  On earth she doesn’t shine all
the time, only when her emotions are really heightened.  One of the last scenes they are fighting the
evil, the bad witches.  The love of her
life comes and she tells him to hold on tight, in that moment she is able to
shine so bright that it turns everything dark, evil, all the witches to less
than dust.  That is us, we are the star
and the man is Jesus, with Him we are able to shine so bright that all of the
darkness disappears, boom obliterated into nothing.  In the movie He asks her why she didn’t just
do that in the first place and she tells him that she couldn’t have done it
without him.  Without Jesus there is no
way that we could ever shine bright enough to make the dark turn to dust.
