Hey Friends! Can’t tell you all how blessed I am to have you all supporting me in prayer and friendship and just loving me! I’m giving up facebook and twitter this week. Every week in preparation for my trip, me and my team mates have been giving something up, this week we could choose anything we thought we needed to give up for a little while and I chose facebook and twitter 🙂 These past couple weeks where we have been doing this has been an amazing way to see how we take such little comforts for granted and how easy it is to live without things that we think are necessities. These are just baby steps preparing us for what is to come. Every week we are each fasting a different day in order to focus on God and pray for our trip, how God is going to use us and praying for people we are going to meet. I am fasting Tuesdays so be praying for my strength to make it through the days and that God will teach me so much in that time fully focussing on him (which we should do everyday… but its so much more powerful when your hungry). I’m challenging you all to be praying for me and praying how God could use you in His mission to spread the gospel to all nations, so that everyone may hear the name of Jesus, surrender their lives to Christ and forever be walking in his love for his kingdom! I’m asking to please be praying about supporting me on this trip that God has orchestrated. God is so faithful and I know he will provide. I still have $7,354 to raise and 4 months until I leave! God can definitely bring the money in and I’m so excited to see who and how he is going to use people. I’m praying God will use this week of no technological contact to blow my support account out of the water.
