Tonight a scary truth rang true to me… we get stopped in our tracks by FEAR. We fail to continue forward with the plans God has laid out for us because we feel inadequate, we think we are too small, too insignificant, not outspoken enough. We over analyze and are so critical of ourselves that we forget yes we are small, we are insignificant but GOD is bigger, God LIVES INSIDE Of us and through him ANYTHING is possible, nothing is too big! We cant see the big picture of what God is doing in our lives but we do feel tugs on our hearts when he is telling us to do something and all we have to do is take the next step… take little baby steps that he puts on your heart and eventually that BIG thing that you thought you could never accomplish… well youve accomplished it because God has accomplished it by working through you, working for you. If God is for us who can be against us? God is our strength. He is BIGGER than any circumstance we will ever encounter. I dont think our brains or our hearts have the capacity to fully understand the enormity of Gods plans for our life and I dont think we need to… all we need to know is that God is GOOD & he is ENOUGH. Our assignment is to live as though NOTHING were impossible because through CHRIST all is possible. Be united in Christ… we have freely received so freely give. Pour out his Love on all you encounter, dont waste a second being fearful. Dont miss another opportunity to share the good news. God will walk you through it one step at a time, even when you cant see the end result…..
I listened to a talk tonight at church and he was talking about how when we are little and we hear all of the stories in the bible about Jonah, Abraham, David and Galieth, Joseph etc… we are like WOAH AWESOME soo cool HES great and we never once question the amazing tasks they accomplished and then as we get older we become too smart, too practical and we still think the stories are awesome but we begin to think well that wouldnt really happen, or thats very unlikey and forget that God is still That powerful … all of those things are more than possible! Before Jesus came God was WITH THEM… he is now INSIDE US! we need to utilize the power we’ve been FREELY GIVEN!
