Product description:

1. How old are you and what have you been doing lately?

I am 23 years old. I will be 24 by the time i launch on my race, and turn 25 on the field. I have been actively searching for a new job and recently got hired on with Amazon Fullfillment in Lexington, KY. I am waiting to start there. I am not sure if or where I want to go to school or work when i return from the Race. Wherever the Lord calls! I have been spending a lot of time hanging out with friends in the College aged ministry at my church called Elevate, and working on growing those relationships.

2. Childhood/adolescence: Where have you lived? Who are your parents? Your siblings?

I have lived in a whole lot of different places throughout my life. I was born in Louisville,Ky and spent a lot of time there and in Versailles, KY where my Dad’s side of the family lives. My mother’s name is Conny Harrison and she lives in Radcliff, KY with three of my sisters. Their names are Heaven, Chloe, and Chasity. My father’s name is John Hale, and He lives in Versailles, KY with my sister Victoria and my brother Jonathon. I am the oldest of all my siblings.

3. Your heart: Tell us about the things that have impacted it.

This one is a hard one to narrow down but anyone who knows me can see how my heart aches for those who live in poverty or are suffering. I also feel great longing to grow in intimacy with other believers as the church body. Something that exhilarates my heart is seeing God’s glorious creation from the smallest things to the grandest displays of His handiwork.

4. Your interests: What do you love to do? Where do you maybe feel called? What’s your Myers/Briggs? Spiritual gifts? Strengths/weaknesses.

I love to worship and play guitar. I enjoy films and reading books. I feel called to use my experiences to bring glory to God’s name and to serve the Lord as a missionary. My Myers/Briggs is ESFJ. I recently took a spiritual gifts test. My results were

#1 Faith                                            34/35

#2 Exhortation and Mercy           tied at 33/35

#3 Discernment                                  32/35

#4 Prophecy                                       31/35

#5 Pastor/Shephard and Wisdom tied at 30/35

Some gifts that are not tested for in this test are Healing, Miracles, Tongues, and Interpretation of tongues. Healing and Miracles and two gifts i think may be very prevalent in my life.

I am strong in the areas of Leadership and Compassion, and I feel a weakness is remembering facts from the past.
5. Your spiritual journey: What have been the significant factors and who have been the significant people? What are the highlights?

The first truly significant people in my journey were Tessy and Anthony Ennis. I cannot express how vital it was for God to place me in their care. I learned to relinquish a lot of pride, how certain things teenagers do can hurt my witness, and how to be merciful and just. They truly taught me the extent of God’s love and goodness. They were immeasurably patient and gracious. I was saved and a lot of my journey to Jesus came through their example. I could write for days about my journey but would like to reveal a lot of it through other posts in the future so stay tuned!
6. Your pains/issues: What do you struggle with? What do you want to get out of the year to come?

I struggle with not getting overwhelmed when day to day struggles don’t seem to have answers. I want to obtain such a trust in God that i am peaceful not only about the big picture, but also about the details.
7. Why the World Race? What led you to it? What hopes do you have? What worries?

I have actually prepared another blog about the calling i received and what was happening in my life when it came to me. I hope to go to the World Race and see God working in miraculous ways i never imagined and to grow my relationship with Him, His people, and with myself. So much will transform and change and i am ready to be changed. More than anything i want to be His hands and His feet to a lost and hurting world.
8. How can we be praying for you?

Pray about the details of day to day life before the race, that i would trust God’s provision and relinquish any pride in allowing Him to bless me through His people who He leads to do so.

Pray over my relationships that they would be healthy and intimate and that i would serve others well.

Pray for my personal and spiritual growth and development, that i would be discipled well and equipped with all skills that He needs for me to have on this journey

Pray for my sanity AKA my mentor, she is my bread and butter and this journey is a struggle for her as well

Pray overmy trip and every appointment with you,my support team and with people on the field that God has appointed

pray that i would be sensitive to the spirit and not be hesitant to make any moves God asks of me
