This trip is so much harder than I expected.
I think before you leave for the race you romanticize and kind of make it into a fairytale.
It’s not a fairytale. It’s hard.
But God is teaching me so much through the difficulty.
He’s here. He’s present.
He’s teaching me to grow in the difficulty rather than capsize.
He’s showing me that He is GOOD. That this is good. Me being here is part of the growth journey He wants me to experience.
As hard as it is there is also so much joy and laughter. and singing. and relationships. and 3 trips to the tienda everyday. and more choco bananos than I cant count (they’re only like 10 cents don’t judge 😉 ).
Keep my team in your prayers ! We need it 🙂
