I never know what to say exactly when talking “about me.” Once, I actually tried writing some kind of autobiography for a NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month), to which I left uncompleted with a huge HAHA. Well, this simple blog certainly seems less daunting.
So, my name is Kirstin (pronouned Kear-stin.) I am 21 years old, and I will turn 22 about the same time I launch for this Race! I can’t decide which I would like better, birthday in the US or elsewhere. Still exciting, nonetheless! I absolutely love cats and the color purple (the color, not the movie, although it is a great movie.) I love traveling, and I have been to several countries in Europe, mostly during a trip I took in high school. I especially love Germany, and I speak a little German (Enough to have a brief shallow conversation.) I also know the American pledge of allegiance in German. I learned a lot in high school. I also attended Indiana State for two years before taking a break to pursue full-time ministry.
For the last two years, I have been working for the Wabash Valley International House of Prayer (transitioning to the name torchhouse.) I am on worship/intercession sets several times a week playing the piano and singing. I have volunteered, been full-time, and part-time within those two years at wvihop. I am currently part-time along side a part-time job as a care provider. I care for intellectually disabled people throughout the week.
Before that I have been a youth-leader for a youth group. With them I went to a youth camp on a missions trip as well as a few retreats. with a different organization, I have also been to Italy on a missions trip.
I would prefer you not turn my life into a movie immediately, at least not without letting me read the script first, or without casting Zooey Dechanel as me.
