My hope is that this letter finds you and your family doing well!
Allow me to catch you up on some life events of mine! The past three years I have been working at TFHNY, The Father’s House, a church in Rochester, NY, as a graphic and branding artist. I have had the opportunities of contributing to the communication marketing team, leading several interns in the internship program and volunteering as a leader in the church’s student ministry. I have been sitting front row and watching God move in unbelievable ways in the lives of thousands here in my city and it’s beautiful.
I am excited to announce that I recently joined a team preparing to serve as missionaries through an organization, Adventures in Missions (AIM), in their World Race program. The World Race is an 11-month Christian missions trip to 11 different countries around the world starting this July. Through adventure, ministry, community, and self discovery, I am ready to use my hands, my heart, and my voice to act for God’s Kingdom around the globe. On the race, my team will serve in partnership with churches and ministries in local communities to preach the Gospel and plant churches. We will work in orphanages and minister to women and children who are trapped in prostitution as a result of human trafficking and bring hope and redeeming power of the Father’s love to many tribes and nations.
My heart races to see God in a revolutionary way with eyes that see a global perspective up close and life in an extreme way. The idea of backpacking has only been a forethought, never an actual excursion in m book. Neither has the idea of trading my home for a one man pop-up tent for an entire year been an opportunity I would jump on. God is awakening incredible passion in my life. Passion to reach the unattainable, the rejected, the trapped and the forgotten who live in some of the most rural areas of the world. I know without a doubt that God is going to do exceptional wonders through this team and in my life personally.
My prayers are that God will use you as an addition to this team to see a forever effect in the world. I have a fundraising goal of $16,285 total, which includes the cost of international health insurance, that will help to sustain me while I serve for 11 months.
