Since being accepted to The World Race, I have felt that this journey is not just for me. Yes, I will be the one traveling to 11 countries over the course of 11 months. Yes, I will be the one interacting directly with the people of Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, Romania, Ukraine, South Africa, Swaziland, Mozambique, Thailand, Malyasia, and Cambodia. And yes, I will be the one experiencing this first hand. However, I also know that this journey can impact those that partner with me and it can become your journey as well. It will look different than my journey but I know that God is taking my supporters on a journey of their own through my world race.
I would love if you would pray about partnering with me. The first way you can partner with me is to commit to praying for me and my squad/team. If you would like to be added to the list to receive prayer updates throughout the 11 months, please contact me and send me e-mail address and I will be sure to add you to the prayer list.
The second way which you can partner with me is to support me financially. In order to remain on the field for the entire 11 months, I must raise a total of $15,500. As of right now, I have raised just shy of $10,000 which means I still need to raise approximately $5,500. If you feel led to donate toward this journey you may do so online by clicking the support me tab on the left (it will deduct up to 3% for processing fees) or you may mail a check to Adventures in Missions (no fees). If you wish to mail a check to AIM please make the check out to Adventures In Missions and in the memo line please write "PHILLIPSKIRSTEN" to be sure the amount gets added to my support account. The third way to join this journey is to follow this blog. As I'm on the field, I will be writing blogs and updates about stories from the field. This is the best way for you to stay updated about what is happening. This is where you will hear the struggles and the triumphs. This is where you will get to experience what I'm experiencing. You can subscribe to the blog by clicking the "Subscribe" link on the left and entering your e-mail address. You will then receive an e-mail every time I write a new blog.
