We didn’t come on the race to be closed off, singular, set apart, or to hold tight to our things and our world.
We came on the race to become one. To truly learn about the body of Christ and how to be apart of it.
We came to learn and to teach. To give all we can and humbly accept whatever is given to us.
We came to encourage our peers and do life together. We came to succeed, even in our failures. To know that God is so much bigger than one person can understand.
We came here to dig deep, uproot lies, plant seeds, and pave the way for lives to be saved.
We came to truly trust in our Savior. To let Him prove to us that He doesn’t fit into the box we had Him in. And He never will.
Our God is VAST, UNYIELDING, and RELENTLESS in his pursuit for us. We came here to return the favor. To pursue Him with all we have and let the world under our feet fall away.
To let our knowledge be challenged and our faith to be renewed.
We didn’t come to see the world in all of it’s glory. We came to truly see God and bring Him glory.
Through the hardship we face, we will choose to bring Him glory.
Our hearts that broke at the sight of evil and injustice ignited a fire in us that will burn and bring Him glory.
The things that we have learned of this world and ourselves, we will use to bring Him glory.
For the glory of the world is God’s and His alone.
I came to play my part. To give back to Him what was His to begin with.
