Hello friends! I’m am so sorry that I haven’t written in a very long time. So much has happened since the last time I sat down to blog and I just wanted to add a few blogs now to give you all little updates on the past couple months have been for me. I want to just give you a little note about my time in Cambodia.
Cambodia was one of my favourite places on my trip. It wasn’t really the country itself that caught my heart, but I simply loved the Khmer people from the ministry that I got to be a part of there. I was in Phnom Penh and working with young people and just building relationships with them. I got to have one-on-one conversations, play games, have Bible studies, help out in the church’s youth group, love people in a poor nearby village, and play soccer! Those are all things that I love. I felt like the Lord used the ministry in Cambodia to show me how He could use me to do His work in the things I’m most passionate about, such as young people, the Bible and soccer. I felt like He gave me a small glimpse into what life could look like for me when I am serving Him in the areas that He has given me great love and desire for. I loved pretty much every minute with my friends in Cambodia. I loved each young person that I got to spend time with and I miss them a lot.
I am so thankful for the time I had in Cambodia and I am truly better from it!
