Located right smack-dab-in-the-middle of Bulgaria* is a village called Dobromirka. I will spend the next 21 days working alongside an organization called Mission Possible. They are located throughout 10 different countries and the branch in Bulgaria specifically houses women’s conferences and seminars. The organization also publishes Bulgaria’s only Christian women’s magazine and specializes in translating Christian books into Bulgarian (very cool!).
A = Dobramirka
Opportunities I’ll hopefully be encountering this month include soup kitchen feedings in the local churches for Gypsy children, Bible Studies, after school activities with the children, and of course, manual labor!
We are teamed up with Amaranthine this month, however, they are located in the Sofia Mission Possible location for the next week and will most likely meet up with us later in Dobromirka.
Our accommodations this month are the best we’ve seen all race! Since we’re staying at the conference center, the facility houses large numbers of people and even has a full size industrial kitchen! (The kitchen is as big as our entire apartment last month!) I’m telling you, we are blessed abundantly and I’m thankful for every amenity provided!

We’ve already encountered lots of the children hanging out with us throughout the day, even though we’ve only been here a few short days. Apparently they’re on Spring Break until the 17th, so I expect to see them from here on out until school starts up again. 3 of the children we met lived in London the first half of their lives and speak perfect English! Hallelujah! So they’ve been acting as a translator to the other kids, very exciting! Other than that, we’ve done yard work, planted some apple trees, cleaned the windows, cleaned the rooms for an upcoming conference happening while we’re here, and I look forward to see what the rest of the month holds!
The kids came to sing for us Saturday before Easter. Apparently it's a tradition to go around the village singing to the people and collecting eggs and candy…
Thank you for your continual prayers and support! I’ve loved Eastern Europe but I am SO ready to move to a warmer climate already! My bones were built for sun and heat 365 days of the year! Can I get an AMEN!
