I was talking with my friend Amanda today and she told me this awesome story of how God was working!
Amanda was at the store the other day and was wearing the shirt that I sold as a fundraiser for my race. A lady (we will call her Sue for the sake of the story) asked her about the shirt and Amanda told her about me and my mission. Sue was blown away and started to tell Amanda about her daughter that was a missionary in Turkey. They chatted for a little bit and then went on their way.
A little while later, Amanda ended up behind Sue in the check out line. Sue turned around and handed her money. She said that she promised herself that if she ran into Amanda again, she would give her money to support me.
As Amanda was telling me this story, I was blown away by the constant reminder of how God is always working in the most mysterious and unexpected ways.
So thank you kind stranger for supporting my mission. You made my day and have reminded me to look for God even when I don’t expect it!
