We made it here safely on Thursday night. It has been a little challenging to adjust to Africa time. Not only is it a different time zone, but it is a completely different pace.
I had to readjust some of my expectations based on the availability of transportation. Alabanza, where we are staying, is in the middle of nowhere. We are dependant on staff to give us a ride when they are going to town. They are very gracious, but they also have there own things to do so we are very flexible and grateful when a ride is available.
We just booked out tickets to go to Swaziland. We will be leaving Wednesday morning. Please pray for our safety as we travel and that all the connections will be made as planned. I hope to update you again once we arrive.
Meanwhile, it has been great to reconnect with old ministry partners and be encouraged in where God is leading me. I am getting a very important reality check about what it would be like if I decide to live in Africa. It is quite different as an individual than it was a part of a team.
Blessings to you back at home.
