We got to visit another one of the centers the other day. It was really cool. It is actually a salon where the girls work part of the time doing hair and nails and stuff. They also make jewelry that gets sold back in the States.

We met the couple that runs that center. They are very cool. They teach classes for the girls for things like math and English and life skills. That will be part of our ministry to help with those classes. We got to help them with some math while we were there. It was fun, but I have to admit I really had to think. I even did one thing wrong until I looked at the board and saw what he was doing. Oops.

After the math class, they pulled out their beads and started making more jewelry. We got to sit down with them and help if we wanted to. I made one bracelet with them, but then I saw a few other beads in the box that I liked. I asked if I could make one for myself to buy from them, so they let me go ahead and do it. I used to do that as a hobby at home. It was fun, and now I have something to remember them by.

We also went back to the first center again to visit and help with some English lessons. When we got there, they had canceled the class and were working on greeting cards. They also make these to sell in the States, so we got to sit with them and make cards for a few hours. I really miss doing little creative things like that, so it was fun and a great way to get to know them better.

I really enjoy these women. They are so sweet and fun to talk to. It is easy to forget where they came from when you are just hanging out with them at the center. I have to remind myself that they are very wounded and need a lot of love and affirmation. They are so amazing and friendly. Praise God that they have a second chance, and a place to live that will teach them about Jesus and give them the skills for a better future.

One of the bigger visions is that these girls will return to their home towns and spread the Gospel there to reach all of Thailand. One woman is already doing that. It is awesome to see how God can redeem and transform a life. Any life.
