We are drawing near to the end of our training here in GA. I am filled with mixed emotions; on one hand looking forward to getting back to some kind of routine and taking care of things that have been on hold, and on the other hand wanting to stay and continue bonding with my teamates and leaning more from all of these amazing teachers we have had access to. They have so much wisdom and experience to share, and have been a great source of healing and encouragement.

I am so excited about the teams that were formed and the routes that have been announced. We have been given a whole new vision about what ministry looks like and a new passion for the people we will get to serve in Jesus name. I already am beginning to love these people that I don’t even know yet.

I have also found a whole new love and understanding of God as my Father, Savior, and Counselor. I am eager to apply the things I have learned and dive deeper in my relationship with God. I have found a freedom that I did not even realize I was missing. I can not wait to share more with all of you as soon as I have time to sit down and process through the last five weeks.

God bless you with His peace and personal knowledge of His love for you. He is so awesome when we earnestly seek Him with a humble heart.

Here are some pictures from one of our “scavanger race”.
We had to meet and pray with people in the community and collect some random things along the way.
The main point of the exercise was learning to “ATL” – Ask The Lord – and seek His direction about were to go and how to pray for people. It was fun and amazing to see how God directed our path and the people we would encounter. It was also a great way to demonstrate how the adventure part of our trip would play out. We were given $20 for the whole team to buy lunch for us and some of the people we were meeting. We managed to feed our team of five and five other people and some have a little money left over. It was good practice and great fun.
