So life here at camp is pretty normal. I haven’t had many exciting things to blog about….unless you think that dishes and smores are interesting. But today has been lovely. Jenn, Jeremiah and I got the job of babysitting the 4 ukranian orphans who live at the camp. After a couple of hours of digging a tunnel to china in the sand (well I guess that it wouldn’t be to china from here now would it? 5 points to whoever figures out where a tunnel would come out from ivankiv, Ukraine) we decided to take the kids to the lake. It was BEAUTIFUL! fields of wheat and dasies blowing in the wind and kids splashing in the water. It was the first time that I felt like I could understand the children… splash splash means “please dunk me in every language. And we ate wild mulberries off a bush on the walk back. It’s been great!
