So I’ve been reading a lot while I’m here at camp. I came across a quote that said “Christians today are more focused on what they’re against than what they’re for.� Wow, that is so true. The church is against so many things… pre-marital sex, drugs, alcohol abuse, ect. But what are we for? It seems that we are stuck in a defensive position telling the world what is wrong with it. But why can’t we, instead of bemoaning poverty… fight it with charity? Why can’t we end injustice by spreading justice and snuff out hate with love? Righteousness isn’t just doing nothing wrong, it is doing something right! How long will we look at the world’s problems and say to ourselves “I wish that somebody would do something about that�? You are somebody, do something!
