I woke up today with a still quietness on my heart. It was like a shift had been made. I didn’t recognize what this shift was; it was just a simple movement. I jumped out of bed and bundled up, and headed out to the dock in the back of the Hylton’s house. As I walked around the top deck I noticed the stillness of the water. There was no moon to light the sky. My body could feel the peace. What was this change?

We went to the office, for what I thought was going to be another day of realizing our dreams and knowing the practical steps to achieving them. When we arrived the atmosphere was different. A change had been made the day before, with so many divine appointments showing up at our doorstep.

The spirit of prayer invaded the room once more and after praying for several people we turned our prayer toward Haiti. As we were praying, Seth told us to start praying about a team of Intercessors going into the Dominican Republic to pray for Haiti from closer in, with an opportunity to help out where needed.

As I prayed about it, God reminded me of all of the times in the past I would have loved to help out in other catastrophes. All of those other times, I had commitments that prevented me from going, from doing anything about it. Right now I have the opportunity. Right now I have the availability. Right now it is time to step up and be in a significant place to be used.

God opened some doors today as Seth called Miguel, an AIM contact in the Dominican Republic. He has been in Haiti and told us of the horrific images that he has seen in the past few days. Seth explained the vision he saw and asked if it would be something that would be feasible. Miguel agreed that it would be, and explained two different places where the team could stay. One was on the border and the other just inside the border in Haiti.

As long as doors continue to open I plan to walk through them. I am going to continue praying about going to Haiti, but I am heading in that direction. God is working there and I want to be a part of it.
