We had cell group tonight at SHE, Everything that we minister for reached a high point tonight. One of the girls who came out of the bars about a month ago, came to Mark before cell group started and told him she wanted to be a Christian. It’s something she has seen as she has been working here. She has heard many testimonies of who God is and she was ready! You could not wipe the smile from her face! She was overflowing with thankfulness the entire night. Another amazing thing about the night is that last night one of the girls who has been working at the bars decided she wanted out and that she wants to work at SHE. So this morning she got all of her stuff and moved in. I can tell she is a little overwhelmed, especially with 32 extra World Racers and YWAMers living in the house. But she came to cell group tonight and she was able to hear God’s faithfulness from her new Thai friends and many other people from around the world. Every morning a devotion is given to the girls who work here before they start their day. I don’t know the total number of girls who have worked here, but Mark and Sharon said that 98% of the girls have accepted Christ! Only one girl has gone back to the bars. The girls have the option of staying here, in the house, for three months before they need to find their own place. They also can only work here 2 years, because it is more like an apprenticeship. Within the two years that they work here, they have learned all they need to know to have the skills necessary to go out and have their own business. A lot of the girls go back to the provinces where their families are, which spreads the gospel throughout Thailand! This is an incredible ministry! I love being part of it!
