Have you ever been in a place that seemed outside of time? That is what training camp was like for me. I stepped outside of time for 10 days to experience a change of my heart. It was a reawakening in my spirit. We joked at the beginning of the week about the past world racers making this into a hazing week for all of the new kidsJ. Instead it was an initiation week for us to come deeper into the body of Christ. Time seemed to stand still as 54 people (plus staff) from all over the US and Canada were made into one unified team, excited and passionate about spreading the name of Jesus Christ throughout the entire world! The week seemed as if it would never end, but sadly it did and we had to go home. As I was on the bus Monday night headed into FedEx I realized I was back in the real world. Everything I had just experienced was a memory and like a blissful dream. As I sit at Starbucks today I realize that an experience like the one that I just had can either be a mountain top experience that you look back on throughout life and think fondly of or it can be life changing. I choose for it to be life changing. I choose to live my life intentionally in a deeply intimate relationship with my Lord and my God! God has already opened my eyes to hurting people that are so close to me, but I never saw what an impact my faith could have on them.
God let me be your vessel to impact the world around me so that they will experience your presence and turn from their own ways to live whole-heartedly for you!
