One of the best parts about being the Unsung Heroes team is getting to see all the different minitries and seeing what God is doing. I have been sooo impressed by what these missionaries have done here in Chiang Mai and their heart and dedication to the work God is doing here. These people truly are unsung heroes. Another great part of my mission this month is that I get to tell their stories.

Frontier Labourers for Christ was founded in 1979. This ministry runs a children’s home, water project, bible conferences, a medical program and so much more. One of my favorite things about this ministry is their Barefoot Doctors Program. They host students from Burma, Thailand and even the US and train them not only on general medicine but also how to treat people in the villages. It is a 3 year program and once completed, they send these barefoot doctors out to the villages to help those who cannot afford medical care.

Be praying for this ministry as it grows. They have literally built the facility up from the ground over 30 years and are still working on growing so they can continue to serve the community. There are many needs that they still have including teachers for the children’s home and volunteers at their facility.
