Well, it was a 50/50 for the jays in Africa.
In Zambia, they went teaching at the Good Samaritan school and played a couple soccer games.
They even got to go on an African safari in Botswana
In Malawi 1.0, I occasionally took them out to the village for evangelism… but most times I wore the sandals, the days were hot and everywhere the ground was just dust.
In Malawi 2.0, they spent most of the time at the Mozambique embassy and Malawian immigration office. I couldn’t take photos there so you’re just going to have to take my word for it. Other than that, they came out for the drive to the airport and then it was goodbye Africa.
They’re looking pretty beat up but unlike back in month 5, when I thought they’d be dead, I actuall think i’ll finish the race with them. They have proven to be quite sturdy and reliable. We’ll see what Asia has in store.
Stay Blessed
Kim 🙂
