I want to see change in this world. I want to help bring about this change. So, I went on the world race. I’m not saying everyone has to drop their lives and travel the world being a missionary for a year in order for there to be change. This is just how I chose to do it. Fundraising has never been my favorite thing. Lets be real, It’s like begging for money. Part of why I almost didn’t do the race was because I’d have to raise so much money. Once I decided to take that step of faith, I somehow didn’t stress about the funds. I believed God would just provide… and he did. I have met every financial deadline without any problems and little effort… untill now. I guess He’s trying to tell me that I’ve become too lackadaisical. LOL
I now face the possibility of being sent home. I don’t want to go home. I want to stay in Africa. I want to continue to serve these people. The only thing standing in the way of that is 25%. I am missing just 25% of funds in order to be fully funded. Soooo, introducing my Fun(d) Board. Its simple, pick a number, donate that amount and receive a prize! I mean, who doesn’t like prizes :-). You can get a postcard, video shout out or dinner with me after the race :-). Last financial deadline is JULY 1st!!!!!!
