Well I just returned home a few days ago from World Race training camp and I’ve been trying to figure out how I’m going to blog about such an eventful week. There’s so much that has happened! One word to describe training camp: eye-opening (okay maybe that’s two words). I cried A LOT, laughed some more, cried again, and began to heal from past issues I didn’t even realize were binding me from complete freedom in Christ. Did I mention I cried a lot?

This past week I witnessed the Holy Spirit not only move in my life, but in the lives of other future World Racers like I’ve never seen Him move before. The next few blog posts will be about some of my experiences at training camp; there’s just too much to share in just one blog! I want to spend my time in this blog to thank my squad mates for being so welcoming and full of love for one another…it’s like I’ve known you for years!

During training camp we were placed into teams of about 7 that we will be serving with while on the field. I’m excited to announce that the Lord has blessed me by placing me on an all women’s team (I cried when I found out about my team too…happy tears, of course)! These women are truly some of the most amazing women of God I’ve ever met and I can’t wait to serve alongside them for the next year! Meet Team Rhizoo:

Be sure to check out their blogs and keep us all in your prayers during this next season of our lives. A little over a month until launch!
