oh, where to start…
–first off, i’m from a small city named Marshall, in the southwestern corner of MinneSOOOta. yes, i have one of the strongest minnesotan accents known to mankind; and i’ve learned to embrace it:)
–i am the youngest of 3 girls, and to be honest, sometimes i felt bad for my dad having to deal with so many women in the house.. but he’s a great man because of it, and i love him dearly! he did a fabulous job dealing with/raising us girls.
–i’m definitely a mama’s girl, i can say whole heartedly that she’s my best friend, along with my main man, JC!
–i have 2 adorable little nieces, and 1 little nephew, all of which are under the age of 2. they’re the loves of my life! God has blessed me with an absolutely incredible and inspiring family.
–i am currently 21 years old, and will turn 22 on September 21st.
–i LOVE to smile and laugh. i guess i thoroughly enjoy being happy! What’s there to frown about? The Lord of the universe is crazy about us!:)
–i am a collegiate athlete- i play volleyball for the University of Wisconsin- Stout…this will be my senior season; such a bittersweet feeling. i have enjoyed playing for the Lord the past 3 years, and i cannot wait for this upcoming season to continue to priase God and give Him glory through the gifts He has blessed me with!
–i LOVE music.. singing (although i don’t sing exceptionally well) is my favorite way to praise the Lord. somehow lyrics always say the words that are on my heart that i can’t form, and i love it!
–i am currently a senior at Stout, planning on graduating in May of 2011, and leaving for the WORLD RACE in July of 2011. (HECK YES! i am SO stinkin’ excited!)
–the FCA organization (fellowship of the christian athlete) is a gigantic part of my life. at an FCA camp is where i first dedicated my life to Christ, and i have been involved as a counselor for high schools every summer since.
–i truly believe from the depth of my being that God has His hand SO strongly on this mission trip… I am beyond thrilled to see how He moves along with the Holy Spirit through this trip. i’m going on this trip to spread the love of Christ, make disciples of all nations, and be the most obedient servant to our Lord and King.. yes i am fully aware of how the people we will be working with in other countries will change our lives more than we could ever hope to change theirs.
