I woke up yesterday morning afraid… I will be giving up my stable job, apartment, and savings account for 11 months of working in an environment contrary to anything I’ve ever experienced, living out of a backpack, giving up everything I am and have…
God reminded me of this passage:
“Phil. 2:3-4 Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in
humility consider others better than yourselves. Each of you should
look not only to your own interests, but also to the interests of
others. “
Soon after, I got an email from a pastor in the Democratic Republic of the Congo that I was blessed to begin to communicating with. He recently held a baptism ceremony with some of the people in his community. After looking at the pictures, I don’t know how I ever questioned my decision to go on the World Race, and my call from God. THIS is why I’m giving up all I have to follow God:
To see the Kingdom come… And right now, I coudln’t feel more blessed, or excited! 🙂
