Hi!

As you can probably tell by the large title of this blog, my name is Kim, and yes, my last name is Gross.   My last name really is a great conversation starter though.  Anyway, I’m 25 years old and currently work in Corporate America as an Account Manager in the wonderful world of advertising! ๐Ÿ™‚ I graduated from Michigan State University with a bachelors in advertising in 2004, and have been working for GM ever since!    I know full time mission work is drastically different from my comfortable 9-5 job, but ever since I returned from my second trip to Kenya this October, God has been working on my heart to step out in faith and follow him… to the Ends of the Earth!!

I have a younger brother (23) and two awesome parents.  I love them soo much, and would not be where I am today without them.  I also have a 10 month old kitty, Mocha, who still needs a home from Aug. 2009 – July 2010, if you’re interested!

And now for  some fun facts about me…
-I have a super random sense of humor, and love dumb jokes… probably too much.
Q:  What’s green and has wheels?
A: Grass I lied about the wheels. ha!
-My two favorite foods are hummus and guacamole… yes, too spreads, I know ๐Ÿ˜›
-I am addicted to Diet Pepsi and House M.D. on FOX.
-My favorite thing to do is travel (and check my world perks miles on Northwest Airlines)
-People are my passion.  I love learning about and encouraging people!
-I would do ANYTHING for my friends
-I’m trying to learn Swahili… Trying being the key word… I bought the Rosetta Stone, does that count as trying? ๐Ÿ™‚
-My heart is in Africa… I think I left it there in October when I was in Kenya.
-I’m excited to depend on God every moment of every day on the World Race.
I will leave you with a minute long video of my recent trip to West Pokot…. I love this place! (And Yes, I am “hip bumping” at the end)
