It’s hard to believe we are starting our fourth month of the race, but here we are in Lithuania! This month is going to look quite different for Team F.I.E.R.C.E. We are doing what is called ‘unsung heros,’ which means we don’t have a specific host or contact, or even a specific town in which to stay. We will be travelling all over the country of Lithuania looking for contacts, a.k.a. ‘unsung heros,’ and connections that may be able to host World Racers in the future, and also to just plug them in with other believers that we know in the area.
We are all really excited to be able to take part in this ministry. It’s an amazing opportunity to seek out relationships and contacts all over the country. There will be a lot of really amazing experiences to come out of this month, but also some challenges as well. While getting to explore new towns and villages will be really great, it will also mean we will be completely dependant upon the Lord to lead us and to provide us with contacts and locations. We will also be packing and re-packing our packs quite often and lugging them around with us a lot more that we are used to at this point. And even though learning to be fully dependant upon the leading of the Lord will be an amazing experience- there may be times when we may not know where we will be laying our heads that night.
I ask that you keep my team in your prayers this month as we face many challenges and get to experience God’s guidance in new and deeper ways. Pray that we will have unity in our decisions and that we all stay open to the leading of the Holy Spirit. Pray that we will have the boldness to speak to everyone the Lord places in our path, and pray for the hearts of all the people who do have ministries here in Lithuania that they may be drawn to us and be placed in our path.
Again, I want to thank each of you for all the encouragement and support. I could not have committed to these 11 months without knowing that there were so many people out there praying for me and supporting me in so many ways!
God Bless!
