This is really happening people. In two months I will be leaving the country to spend 11 months in 11 different countries, acting as the hands and feet of our Savior.
I am soo excited to begin this journey and to complete the plans that the Lord has set before me.
In case you are wondering, here are the details: On January 5th I will meet up with my squad in Atlanta, Ga. where we will spend a few days in preparation and prayer. On January 9th we will officially leave the country headed towards our first stop, Zambia!!
It’s really beginning to hit me that all this is really happening and I am staying on guard knowing that satan would love to attack at this point of vulnerability. Prayer is so crucial to my success. I would ask that all of you faithful prayer warriors continue to pray for my strength and guidance as I prepare to take the last steps necessary to prepare. There are still many things I need to accomplish, and I need to remain steadfast in my plans.
Another point of prayer is financial support. I still have a ways to go before I am fully funded for this trip. I would ask that you pray for me as I continue to seek out ministry partners. Also, If you are praying about what to give, I would ask that you consider becoming a monthly donor. Monthly donations allow for a more spread out distribution rather than one lump sum, and may also allow you to give more that you thought you were able. Again I would urge everyone to go to God in prayer and come up with a number from Him.
In addition to some other things I have in the works, my squad was blessed to receive an additional fundraising training program that is being worked out. It had many useful suggestions and focused a lot on face-to-face meetings….. so prepare yourselves! You’ll probably be hearing a lot from me before I leave!
