Well, I am feeling a little overwhelmed right now. I am the type of person who likes to make lists, so bear with me as I share my feelings in list form:
What I am concerned about:
– getting all my gear, and knowing what to get ( and getting it at the best price)
– getting things done on time
– FINANCES, raising the needed money by the due dates, taking care of personal finances, knowing what to contribute, and just a general feeling of "why does EVERYTHING cost money?!!?"
What I KNOW:
– my God is in control! I KNOW that He led me to this trip, that He placed me on this route, and that He will provide
– my God owns the cattle on a thousand hills. nothing is impossible with HIM
– my God works mightily through His people, and He works mightily for those who call on Him
– God Will Provide! GWP People!!!
Ok, I feel a little better already. I have really been stressing lately and have been forgetting that my preparation includes not only a physical preparation, but a spiritual preparation. I need to be focusing on preparing my heart for what He has planned. He does not want me worrying about the details, or anything else. He wants my attention. He wants my willingness to go. He wants me to depend on HIM!
What I really need to do is to Let go, and let God. That is my preparation, that is what I am training to do. GWP
