(yes, we did get to see The Hunger Games!)
It has only been 5 days here in Phuket,
Thailand and we have been in ministry full swing since day 2. We are working
with SHE ministries forming relationships with ‘bar girls,’ loving them, and
reaching out to them to give them the opportunity to get out. In 4 days
relationships have already been formed and we are praying that those
relationships lead to freedom from the lifestyle and freedom in Christ!
We are very aware of the enemies work in
this place and we ask that you join us in continual prayer for our teams and
our ministry this month. It is going to be trying physically, emotionally, and
spiritually; but we know that God is at work and that He will give us the
strength we need.
Our schedule is on a rotation between the 4
teams. Every other day 2 teams go to the bar and 2 teams stay back and pray.
Here is what our days look like here at SHE:
Bar Days:
8:00am – Breakfast
8:30am – Lead devotions with the staff
9:00am – Team time and feedback (we usually
exercise during this time too)
12:00pm – Lunch
1:00pm – Prayer walk (2 people go down to
the road with all the bars and pray over the night) and product development
(the rest of us stay back and help work on SHE’s projects or clean)
5:00pm – Dinner
8:00pm – Worship
9:00pm – Bar ministry
12:00am – Debrief (we just talk for a few
minutes with our teams about how the night went) then bed

Prayer Days: (I will only write the
differences)
9:00am – We usually get up around this time
1:00pm – Work on Land (we go to work on
some land that SHE is developing for housing and a coffee shop for the
ministry)
9:00pm – Prayer
12:00am – Bed
We are expectant and excited about what God
is going to do this month! I cannot thank you enough for your continual prayers
