I heard a moan coming from the next bed. As
I looked over I saw a little girl lying in bed. I didn’t even notice her when I
first walked in the room because she is so small.

Carla is a 3-year-old little girl who is in
the malnourished unit of the hospital. We believe that she has cerebral palsy.
As soon as I met her she stole my heart and when I learned that she is an
orphan it broke my heart. The doctor explained that when she is well she will
go to Bolivian social services.
Please keep Carla and all of the other
orphans of Bolivia in your prayers. Pray that they will soon have families here
and that they would come to know their Heavenly Father.
Every Thursday and Saturday morning this
month I have visited Carla. We chat, play with the ipod, listen to music, sing,
and exercise together. Exercise is my favorite! Once again I have become a
physical therapist.

Although Carla can’t communicate with
words, her smile and laughter say it all! I love listening to her and praying
with faith that she understands the words I say to her.
I could tell you more about her but I will
just introduce you:
