My friend Anna enjoys things that come in
miniature sizes; for example, miniature Recee’s cups, Heinz ketchup, Dotson’s,
etc. It is ‘fun’ size right? Well, this month our bathroom came with multiple
miniatures and I don’t think it is as ‘fun’ it might sound.

Our home this month is the guesthouse on
hospital grounds. It used to be an orphanage. Our room was the baby room and
the bathroom is equipped for such. The shower, a tub, one toilet (there are
two), and three sinks are all miniature.

The shower is interesting; it is about half
the size of a standard tub in the US and has a ledge/seat built in. This would
be ideal if I was a three year old but at 25 I can barely turn around without
touching the shower curtain and there is no escape from the water unless you do
an awkward back-bend.

Then there are the sinks; the sinks are all
at my thighs, which means that they are pretty short since I stand at a
whopping 5’2″. Whenever we use the sinks we have to hunch over.

Next is the small bathtub. The tub was
built for infants and is built into our counter. There has been talk of using
it for shaving legs but other than that I’m not sure how we could use it.

Lastly the toilet’s; there is one small
toilet for kids and one normal size for adults. Right next to each other, cute
right?

But in all seriousness, our living
conditions this month are far more than we could ever ask for. The bathroom has
hot water and toilet seats. While we still can’t flush our TP, it is a great
blessing to have these multiple miniatures.

Many Blessings,
Kim
